Trail vs. gravel intensive vs. mini route options. Extra credit mountaintops. Top shelf descents. experimental forests. cascading Waterfalls. Lava caves. Elven chasms. Bucolic revelry. Bacchanalian bikedancing. Singletrack sorceries...this year's Falls Creek Hinterland will have four routing options: an epic, a mini, the standard w/ trail + an all-road version. something for everyone!

We return, once again, to the land of milk and honey and by 'milk and honey' I mean 'moss, pine needle, fern and dewy foliage'. That's right, it is time for Falls Creek Hinterland V3. With the exception of a mini route option, the epic, 'Trails & Travails' and all-road circuits will be essentially the same as last year. All route options start + finish in Carson, WA. The jump-off point for those wavering between 'Trails & Travails' and epic versions comes between miles 53 + 54, so riders can make the call depending on how legs are feeling and how much gas is left in the tank so to speak.

At mile 42.5 be sure to check out the lava caves as they are one of several high points along the route. There may or may not be a hint of treasure to make it worth one's while.
